Computer Science Module 1001. Human.
Version 3.9
Hi there. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and pets. My hobbies include hiking, biking, creative writing, and flying model aircraft. I also sometimes enjoy video games with my kids, my own childhood favorite being SimCity. I operated a fan site for that game in school which led to a career at Maxis, a division of Electronic Arts Inc. (EA), a company also known for EA Sports.
Computer science projects
-
Head First Design Patterns in PHP
A port of the book's source code to run on PHP 5 or later. -
Generic HTTP Web Service (GHoWSt)
Communication is important across boundaries. This project allows coding in local language semantics for several supported programming languages and translates calls to and from HTTP dynamically.

Mind-body disorder awareness and beyond
The work of Dr. John E. Sarno has been of great service to bringing me greater self-awareness into how the mind and body works. I am always working out ways to spread it beneficially to others. It isn't easy. I believe the full dynamic is mind-body-spirit and all of these should be integrated, being that they are all interconnected. -
Disease prevention
I believe that preventing serious (and not so serious) illness, as well as aiding some of the healing from it, can be helped by understanding and putting to use the above information. Facing and processing all emotions in healthy ways, finding and living a purpose, and healing from trauma (like healing from a broken bone, for example) are all important for overall health.
Contact info and content elsewhere
I occasionally use various social media when the mood strikes, some public and some private.
